A possible cause is that the search database is being reindexed.
Check the current indexing status for the affected database.
This can be performed by following these steps:
- Open the LaserFiche Administration Console. This can be performed by clicking Start, pointing to Programs, LaserFiche, and then selecting LaserFiche Administration Console.
- Perform one of the following:
- Network database: In the console tree, expand the desired LaserFiche Server item.
- Standalone database: In the console tree, expand the (Local) tree item.
- In the console tree, select the desired LaserFiche database.
- If security has been enabled on the selected database, login as any user who has been designated as a supervisor for the specified database.
- In the console tree, select the Indexing item listed under the LaserFiche database.
- The pane on the right-hand side will indicate the current indexing status.
