Summary

A possible cause is that the search database is being reindexed.

Workaround

Check the current indexing status for the affected database.

This can be performed by following these steps:

  1. Open the LaserFiche Administration Console. This can be performed by clicking Start, pointing to Programs, LaserFiche, and then selecting LaserFiche Administration Console.
  2. Perform one of the following:
    • Network database: In the console tree, expand the desired LaserFiche Server item.
    • Standalone database: In the console tree, expand the (Local) tree item.
  3. In the console tree, select the desired LaserFiche database.
  4. If security has been enabled on the selected database, login as any user who has been designated as a supervisor for the specified database.
  5. In the console tree, select the Indexing item listed under the LaserFiche database.
  6. The pane on the right-hand side will indicate the current indexing status.
