Workaround

For more details, view information on the file in question. To view file information perform the following steps:

  1. Contact your LaserFiche administrator.
  2. Select the affected document from the Folder Browser.
  3. View the properties of the affected document. This can be performed by selecting Properties from the File menu.
  4. Find out the volume associated with the document.
  5. Click More from the Properties dialog box.
  6. Find out the path to the affected image or text file.
  7. Find out the location of the fixed and/or removable path for the volume associated with the document. This can be performed from the Modify a Volume dialog box.
  8. From a file management application (i.e. Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the volume's fixed and/or removable path is located.
  9. Find the affected files using the path discovered in step 6.
  10. View file properties on the document.
  11. Optional. If you still do not know what is causing the issue, then you should perform one or more of the following:
    • Try opening the file(s).
    • Try importing the file(s) into LaserFiche. If they are successfully imported, try opening the newly created LaserFiche document(s).
    • Contact your certified dealer.
