Workaround 1

Try the following:

  1. Contact a LaserFiche administrator.
  2. Check the error log for the subcode.
  3. Restart the LaserFiche Server.

Workaround 2

If this issue occurs when trying to create a database, then you should make sure that the account assigned to the LaserFiche Server has administrative privileges to Microsoft SQL Server.

You may modify the current account being used by the LaserFiche Server by performing the following steps:

  1. Contact the LaserFiche administrator.
  2. From the computer on which the LaserFiche Server was installed, open Services. Services can be found under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel.
  3. Select the LaserFiche Server service (LaserFiche for Microsoft SQL Server).
  4. From the Action menu, select Properties.
  5. Click the Log On tab. This tab allows the configuration of the Windows account assigned to the LaserFiche Server.
  6. Configure the LaserFiche Server to use a Windows account that has sufficient privileges to the local computer and SQL Server.
  7. Click OK.
