6511: Disk Full

March 12, 2004 | KB: 90104
Laserfiche 6, Plus 6

Summary

One of the disks to which LaserFiche is writing does not have sufficient space left on it.

Workaround 1

If this issue occurs when adding data to a volume, then you should try the following:

  • Clear space on the disk.
  • Move a volume to another drive.
  • Create a new LaserFiche volume (on another drive) to which data will be stored.

Note: Creating a LaserFiche volume will only allow users to store data on the new volume. To add data to an existing volume, you will need to clear space on the corresponding hard drive or move the volume to another drive.

Workaround 2

If this error occurs when exporting a file, then you should try the following:

  • Make sure that there is sufficient space on the destination drive.
  • Make sure that the path to which the file will be exported is valid. If you are unsure, you should browse to the path. You can browse to the path using the Name Destination File dialog box, which can be opened by clicking Browse (...).
  • Make sure that the name specified for the exported file does not correspond to an existing file. If it does, then make sure that the file being overwritten is not read-only.

Workaround 3

If this issue occurs when publishing a volume (LaserFiche Plus), then you should try the following:

  • Make sure that there is sufficient space on the destination drive.
  • Make sure that there is sufficient space on the workstation's system drive.
