Laserfiche 6, Plus 6

Summary

A temporary copy of an image is created when performing certain actions. This temporary image file could not be created.

More Information

A temporary image file is created on the local machine in the Window's temporary directory. This storage location is specified by the TEMP environment variable. If that directory doesn't exist, then it will use your Windows directory.

Several typical causes for this error are listed below.

  • The current Windows user does not have sufficient privileges to create the temporary image file.
  • The hard drive on which the Window's temporary directory is located does not have sufficient space.
  • An attempt was made to OCR a text page.

Workaround

Check the following:

  • Verify the current Windows user has sufficient privileges to write to the Windows temporary directory.
  • Make sure that there is sufficient disk storage space for the drive on which the temporary directory resides.
  • Make sure that a text page is not being processed by OCR.
