An updated version of the images and text for an electronic document could not be created.
Check each of the following:
- Make sure that LaserFiche Snapshot has been properly installed. LaserFiche cannot create the images needed to OCR the electronic document without LaserFiche Snapshot. Reinstall LaserFiche
Snapshot and try again.
- Make sure that the specified type of electronic file can be printed as a single print job. Certain types of electronic files (i.e. .MDB, .HLP, etc…) cannot be printed as a single
print job. These type of files require a user to select a component (such as a table or a help topic) before the print option becomes available. To check whether an electronic file
can be printed, try printing it directly from a file management application (i.e. Windows Explorer). If the print option is available, then the file type can be OCRed from within LaserFiche.
- Make sure that the electronic file contains pages.
