Although backslashes (\) can currently be assigned to the name of a document, electronic document, batch, or folder, we highly recommend against it. Any application other than the LaserFiche Client and Server will not be able to access items whose name includes a backslash. Additionally, future versions of LaserFiche do not allow items to be named with a backslash.
