Summary

A document cannot be created until at least one index card template exists in the desired database.

Workaround

Perform the following:

1. If an index card template does not already exist, then you should create one now.
2. Open the Import Options dialog box. Configure the "Document template" option to an index card template.
3. Create the desired documents.
