The requested volume is currently inaccessible.
If this error occurs when opening or viewing a document, then you should try the following:
- Find out which volume has been associated with the affected document. The volume assigned to a document can be viewed from the Document Properties dialog box.
- Find out the location assigned to the affected volume's fixed and/or removable paths.
- Perform one or more of the following:
- If your volume is on removable media, then you should mount the volume to the specified path.
- Verify that the desired image, text, or electronic files can be found in the specified location. You can discover the path to a supporting file by viewing the properties for the
affected document and then clicking More. If you do not have sufficient privileges to verify this information, then you should contact your LaserFiche administrator.
If this error occurs while publishing a volume (LaserFiche Plus), then you should try the following:
- Network database: Contact your LaserFiche administrator. Make sure that volumes are not being attached, exported, or published (LaserFiche Plus) from the database in question
during publishing. If volume administration is not being performed, then you should follow the instructions below from the computer on which the LaserFiche Server resides.
- Find the Window's temporary directory. A folder called "LFExpVol" should exist under the temporary directory. Delete the "LFExpVol" folder. Try attaching the volume again.
