Note: While an index card field can contain up to 250 characters and an index card template can contain up to 30 fields, these two specifications are superceded by a third restriction: an index card template can have a maximum size of 3999 bytes. With this restriction in mind, a template is limited to 15 fields if all the fields have widths of 250 characters. 15 fields with 250 characters each creates a template with a size of 3750 bytes, leaving only 249 characters remaining for the creation of additional fields.
Note: The LaserFiche Client does not prevent you from creating more than 256 folder nesting levels. However, be aware that going above this limit may create issues with other LaserFiche products.
Note: In addition to each instance in which access rights have been specifically assigned to an object, the limitation on the total rights assignment per object includes all instances in which access rights have been assigned to a parent of the object (up to and including the root folder).
