You are Redirected Back to the Sign-in Page When Attempting to Sign In With a Username and Password in Firefox version 127.0

Summary

Firefox 127.0, released on June 11, 2024, may contain a regression that prevents users from signing in to Laserfiche Cloud through a Laserfiche username and password.

Laserfiche has reported the issue to Mozilla who are actively investigating it. Laserfiche will update this article with additional information as it becomes available.

Symptoms

After upgrading to Firefox 127.0, a user attempting to sign in to Laserfiche Cloud will be redirected back to the sign-in page when pressing "Sign in" after entering their username and password.

Viewing the browser developer tools console may contain the following error message:

    Cookie {CookieName} has been rejected for invalid characters in the attributes.

Users signing in through a SAML identity provider are not affected.
