  • On Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2, you must install Universal C Runtime first.

  • Memory: 1GB RAM

Recommended Requirements

  • CPU: 2.6GHz or faster processor
  • Memory: 2GB RAM or higher

Note: Oracle databases are not currently supported.

General Information

  • The Assessment Tool requires Windows Authentication to sign in.
  • Different users on a single machine can run separate Assessment Tools at the same time.
  • Users can only access their own Assessment Tool and cannot access others' tools on the same machine.
  • The Assessment Tool automatically checks for the latest version and automatically offers upgrades, as long as the tool has network access.
  • The Assessment Tool is only currently provided in English.

Installation Information

  • You can launch the Assessment Tool without installing it. When starting Assessment Tool, the tool will open in a web browser and a background process will be created.
  • You can close the web page at any time and running assessments will complete in the background. You can launch Assessment Tool again to reopen the web page.

Known Issues

  • The Assessment Tool only supports Laserfiche Forms 10.4 and later. (516047, 516053, 516055, 516064)
  • Rarely, the assessment status stall in the "waiting" status. Force quit the Assessment Tool process and restart the tool. Then, delete the failed assessment history and click Reassess. (520579)
  • Rarely, the assessment may fail with a critical database error. Delete the failed assessment and create a new one. (521559)
  • Sometimes the "Reassess" button appears disabled even though the report has finished. Refresh the page to enable the button. (520586)
  • The dialog box that appears when updating the Assessment Tool to the latest version only shows the relevant Release Note and List of Changes KB numbers. It does not provide links to the KBs.
