Summary

This article details the list of changes for Laserfiche Directory Server 11 Update 4 (11.0.2303.2108). Update 4 includes the following changes:

  • Accessibility improvements to the STS sign-in page. (360589, 381878)
  • When attempting to sign into the Laserfiche Windows client through a SAML identity provider, you no longer receive the frontend UI error message "{"ErrorCode":null,"ShowReturnLink":true,"Error":true,"Message":"An error has occurred"}" and backend (Event Log) error message "STS.Core.Infrastructure.Exceptions.WebSTSException: An error has occurred ---> System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.".   • Addressed an issue with signing in using SAML authentication with a linked Active Directory identity provider for directories that need to process a referral. (395647)
  • Administrators can now configure an iframe allowlist from the STS configuration page, which enable embedding the Directory Server sign-in page on the specified domain. (359654)
  • Removed unnecessary audit events logging that a user's thumbnail attribute was modified for service account sign-ins. (469975)

  1. Stop the Laserfiche Directory Server service (LicenseManagerWCF). Make sure that the LFDS.exe process has stopped before installing the update.
  2. Extract and run LFDS_11_KB1014475_2108.msp on the computer hosting Directory Server.
  3. Restart the Laserfiche Directory Server service.
  4. Restart the LicenseManagerSTSAppPool application pool in IIS.
