Updates

Added advanced auditing events. These features will require an Advanced Audit Trail feature license.

• Ability to audit administrative and security actions.
• Ability to audit unsuccessful form events such as login failures or failed attempts to elevate or restrict priveleges.

Enhancements to the Save To Repository task

• Configure whether or not files uploaded with a form submission will be saved to the repository.
• Configure which specific attachments, by variable, will be saved to the repository.
• Options for both email and saving to repository now include the ability to place the action history before or after the submission data, or as a separate document, and to include the instance ID using variables.

Additional Features

• Added the ability to edit advanced configuration items from the Configuration site.
• Improved the performance and reliability of timer events.

Form Designer Improvements

• Added data validation to field properties in the right pane.
• Added support for new LFForm JavaScript Interfaces for adding or CSS classes on form elements. See online help for JavaScript for more information.
• Pagination options now include tabs, dropdown, or progress bar styles of navigation, as well as previous/next buttons and ability to have the submission action buttons on every page.
• Extended the abilities of field rules to control the comment box and to add or remove CSS classes on fields.
• Improved form layout when displayed on mobile devices using responsive layouts, while including an option to disable auto-repositioning of elements.
• Added the ability to upload a list of choices for dropdowns, radio buttons, or checkboxes from a CSV file.
• Added a button for the CSS panel on the main toolbar to make it easier to access.
• Improved the file upload field by adding options to show or hide image previews, and to control how those previews are displayed.
• Added options to allow control over which signature types can be used when signing a form.

• Emails can be sent successfully when using Office 365 OAuth for email notification server with delegated API permissions for SMTP.Send. (412926)
• Saving attachments to the repository now stores the entry ID in the cf_bp_attachment_data table correctly. (413825)
• Multiple duplicate aggregated emails will be sent to one user (417862)
• Formula error should be ignored when field is in a hidden section/page (407981)
• unexpected error to load form when the form_id is same as theme_id (411694)
• Config page should always mark client secret for OAuth connections (426747)
• Improved security of the Forms api /Forms/form/retainsubmission. (418430, 426499)

Forms Designer Fixes

• Custom HTML field no longer loses iframe data when the focus changes from the code window to another page element. (422152)
• reCAPTCHA is now shown on pages only when the Submit button is present. (410977)
• Dragging fields outside of a collection/table into another collection/table, or dragging from inside of fields out of a collection/table now generates a warning. (369401)
• Using variable in a currency no longer generates an error message. (423579)
• When "Enable pagination" is checked, the Save Draft button is now shown on every page. (469547)
• Custom JavaScript that throws an exception now allows field rules and lookup rules to work correctly. (408936)
• Calculation results are correct when use string type fields as a parameter for the RIGHT/LEFT formulas. (416043)
• Calculation results are correct when using string type fields for numerical input into formulas. (416044)
• Selecting "Show auto fill button" option for a lookup rule on a form no longer results in STR tasks saving a blank page. (417622)
• Resolved a potential issue that could prevent forms from displaying properly in a web browser when viewed on mobile devices using iOS 16.4.1 (424369)
• You can no longer remove existing files for file upload fields disabled by field rules or JavaScript. (408058)
• Field rule are now evaluated on a printed form if there is lookup rule on the form. (409516)
• When a column in a table is hidden, the next visible column to the right no longer inherits the sizing of the hidden column. (410876)
• Comments Field now able to be filled when the form is marked read-only. (427927)
• Formulas in a table/collection with a trigger outside the table/collection that is filled by a lookup are now processed successfully. (430584)
