Summary

This article details the changes for Laserfiche Scanning 11 Update 2 (11.0.2102.141). This update includes the following changes.

  • Laserfiche Scanning has been updated with newer encryption algorithms to continue to be compliant with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). The current algorithms will be sunset in the near future. (406138)
  • Selecting a template with a dynamic parent field containing one auto-populated value will now successfully populate the child field. (68950)
  • When a repository user sets the View > Display attribute to Text, it caused Laserfiche Scanning to freeze after scanning in a document. This issue has been resolved. (302556)
  • The "Specified cast is not valid" error is no longer displayed when opening Scanning from an open document in the Windows desktop client when date/datetime/time is empty in one of the field groups. (374780)
  • An "Unhandled exception" is no longer displayed when closing Scanning if the Fields tab is a certain height. (374792)
  • Dynamic fields can now be set successfully when the parent field token is used as the default value for those fields. (385096)
  • Dynamic fields now auto-populate correctly when changing the top level parent field and the resulting immediate child field (which is a midlevel parent field for subsequent other child fields) changes from a value to a blank. (389771)
  • Scanning now opens successfully when a user is not a local admin and the Virtual Store is disabled for the machine. (411102)

Extract and replace the existing versions of LfWebScan110.exe and WebScanBuildNum.txt in "<web client install folder>\Web Files\Scanning" with the copies included in the ZIP archive. By default, the web client's install folder is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access.
