When attempting to connect to a data source using the Microsoft ODBC SQL Server Driver, you may receive one of the following errors:

The EMS System encountered a problem. Message: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Protocol error in TDS Stream.
The EMS System encountered a problem. Message: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Unknown token received from SQL Server.

The November 8, 2022 Windows updates introduced a known issue that can affect applications using ODBC database connections.
