Summary

When importing through the Laserfiche web client, you may receive the following error message on the import dialog box:

Method Not Allowed

Cause

There may be a potential configuration mismatch between IIS and the Laserfiche web client. Review the IIS server roles on the web server hosting the Laserfiche web client to make sure that the WebDAV Publishing IIS server role is turned off.

Resolution

Verify that the WebDAV Publishing server role is turned off.

1. On Windows Server, open the Server Manager app.
2. From Server Manager, open the Add Roles and Features Wizard.
3. Progress through the wizard until you reach the Server Roles step.
4. Expand the Web Server (IIS) item.
5. Expand the Web Server item.
6. Expand the Common HTTP Features item.
7. Verify that the WebDAV Publishing checkbox is cleared.
8. Proceed through the rest of the wizard to confirm your changes.
