Summary

Laserfiche Directory Server 11 Update 2 (11.0.2204.1467) includes the following changes:

User Interface Changes

  • Easier configuration of relicensing notifications for Forms instances, including a default URL for the Forms notification endpoint.
  • Accessibility compliance updates for the single sign-on (SSO) sign-in page.
  • Renamed the "Proxied Providers" feature to "Linked Identity Providers" to more accurately reflect the functionality.

Additional Changes

  • Support for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.

Fixes

  • Password reset requests are now visible in audit reports. (331239)
  • Certain SSO sign-in errors could incorrectly redirect to the default Directory Server sign-in page instead of an application's embedded sign-in page. This issue is now resolved. (314641)
  • You should no longer see an invalid credentials error message in situations where the sign-in attempt failed for valid reasons other than an incorrect username and password. (265211)
  • Administrators can now overwrite unique SAML attributes on users. (307466)
  • Search filters are no longer reset when viewing the members of a group and navigating to different pages of the search. (318142)
  • Administrators can now modify SAML user properties during the import process when importing SAML users through a CSV import. (343127)
  • Changing an identity provider's display name could prevent Directory Server from properly querying the provider. This issue is now resolved. (347060)
  • Certain HTTPS certificates with no friendly name could not be selected during the TLS Certificate Options step of the installation process. This issue is now resolved. (348901)
  • 1014262 When upgrading to a newer version of Directory Server, any changes made to the IIS application pool identities for Directory Server or STS are overwritten with the default value of NetworkService. This may cause Windows Authentication to fail or behave inconsistently across internet browsers. (305065).

Laserfiche Directory Server 11 Update 2 is cumulative and includes fixes released with previously released Directory Server 11 updates:

  • 1014288 The primary license autorenewal feature (based on expiration) fails. The Automatic Renewal Status always displays Unsuccessful. (319303)
