Summary

Laserfiche introduces various new features and bug fixes with Laserfiche Workflow 11 Update 1.

The Workflow Web Designer has been retired and is no longer available.

See the following list of additional changes:

  • In rare instances, the Workflow Administration Console could display an error when loading the Laserfiche Live Event Viewer from the Subscribers Node. This issue is resolved. (334066)
  • The Update Word Document activity could not save certain documents as PDF. This issue is resolved. (336250)
  • The Update Word Document activity no longer converts Arial Narrow font to Arial when saving the document as a PDF. (337448)
  • Rare PDF files could cause an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error in the Fill Out PDF Form activity. This issue is resolved. (361182)
  • You can now publish workflows in the Workflow Designer involving the Schedule OCR and Schedule PDF Page Generation activities when the Workflow Service is not installed on the computer with the Workflow Designer. (363616)
  • Workflow now correctly compresses database error logs when appropriate. (373908)
  • Adding a second mail server in the Workflow Administration Console no longer sets the newly added mail server as the default mail server. (374754)
  • Modified the color used for the Document Signed bar in the subscriber trace log's Events Processed Chart. (376446)
  • You can no longer inadvertently modify the "current entry" token for activites that return a results set when used within a For Each activity. (377502)
  • Workflow no longer erroneously checks for browser version for third-party applications making calls into the Workflow web service. (378784)
  • The Replicate Entries activity no longer requires explicitly selecting the "Documents" option within the Folders section in the Copy Settings dialog box to replicate documents. (303237)
  • The Find Entries activity now functions correctly when configured to return "Owner SID" as an additional property. (355647)
  • The Workflow Designer installation no longer requires IIS as a prerequisite. (312607)
  • When importing a workflow that contains a web service, the import wizard is now case insensitive when processing the web service name. (228762)
  • In rare cases, when creating a new document under version control, if workflow then attaches an electronic document, the initial version may not have a proper file extension. This issue is now resolved. (235125)
