Minimum requirements
- CPU: 2 GHz or faster processor

- Operating system: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022
- CPU: 2.8 GHz or faster processor
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Server operating system: Windows Server editions, Windows Server 2016 or later; x64 editions only
- Laserfiche Server: Laserfiche WebLink 11 requires version 10.4.2 or later of the Laserfiche Server.
- Internet Information Services (IIS): IIS 8 or later.
- .NET 4.7.2 is required. The ASP.NET component corresponding to your .NET version should also be installed in IIS.
- Ensure the Windows Authentication feature in IIS is enabled.
- Client Workstation: Client Workstation: WebLink is supported with Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Chromium), Firefox, and Safari for iOS.
Ensure the following IIS features are installed:
- Static Content
- ASP.NET
- Windows Authentication
WebLink includes language support for English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish.
When upgrading from an earlier version of WebLink to WebLink 11, use the WebLink Settings Bundler to export your settings before upgrading. Once the upgrade is complete, use the Settings Bundler from WebLink 11 to import the settings. Note that, due to the redesign of the WebLink interface, some settings cannot be manually migrated in this fashion. These include custom colors, search forms, and the layout of the Welcome page. We recommend noting the configuration of these settings before upgrading so that you can recreate them in WebLink Designer.

- WebLink 11 does not support modifying WebLink 9 search forms. Attempting to edit a WebLink 9 search form will return the following error message, "This search form was designed using an older version of WebLink and may not be compatible with the new search form designer."

- In some cases, you may encounter an erroneous "Discard changes?" prompt after you have saved a search query. Your changes have still been correctly saved. (47818)
- Some ad and script blocking extensions on Chrome may cause the Browse and Search pages to load continuously. Allowlisting the page resolves this issue. (61386)
- Selecting groups of entries while holding the SHIFT key works identically to selecting specific entries while holding the CTRL key. (62196)
- When using search9.aspx and performing a template search, the list of templates is sorted by ID rather than by name. (68034)
