Summary

Use the Laserfiche Cloud integration with Microsoft Teams to:

• Securely collaborate by sharing links to files that will open within the Laserfiche ecosystem.
• Better support compliance with regulatory mandates by saving files directly to Laserfiche as part of records retention policies.
• Streamline processes by starting Laserfiche workflows when a file is saved to Laserfiche from Microsoft Teams.
• Stay organized by storing Teams files directly in Laserfiche.

The Laserfiche Cloud integration with Microsoft Teams is officially supported for use with the Microsoft Teams desktop app and the Microsoft Teams web app accessed from Chrome.

Known Issues

• When saving a file to Laserfiche and setting a location for the file, the "Your location" button will not be filled out with the user's current location. (321698)
• If you pop out the Laserfiche app from Microsoft Teams, the buttons in the Welcome message and help/unknown command response card don't work. (325188)
• When saving files to Laserfiche, if you expand both a folder and a shortcut to the folder, and then select an item within one of the folders, then the corresponding file in the other folder will also be highlighted. (325684)
• Files that are shared directly in a chat, instead of being added as an attachment, are not listed in the "Select chat files to save to Laserfiche" dialog box when saving files to Laserfiche from a chat. (312090)
• The recent files listed in the Laserfiche app's Home tab do not precisely match the recent files in the Team's File tab's recent section or in the OneDrive recent section. The number of files returned, the last modified dates, and the last accessed dates may differ. (311168)
• Trying to open a shared Laserfiche file after the Laserfiche app has been uninstalled will return a "No app found" error instead of prompting you to install the Laserfiche app . (301026)
• When selecting the "Save files to Laserfiche" option from a chat, files which have been shared in another way (e.g., via OneDrive) will not be shown. (310937)
• If you try to save files in Laserfiche from a Microsoft Teams meeting that no one has been invited to, some files will not be available to save. (318258)
• You cannot save files to Laserfiche from a message with attachments within a Microsoft Teams meeting that no one has been invited to. This only occurs when using the Microsoft Teams web application. (318307)

The Laserfiche app encounters some errors with the "pop out" function in the Microsoft Teams desktop application

• If you pop out the Laserfiche app from Microsoft Teams and try to send a recently saved file to the Chat tab from the Home tab, Microsoft Teams will be unable to reach the Laserfiche app. (319689)
• If you pop out the Laserfiche app from Microsoft Teams and try to close the import file dialog box from the Home tab, Microsoft Teams will be unable to reach the Laserfiche app. (318806)
• In popped-out windows, the "Save files to Laserfiche" option is not available from the More options menu. (318803)
