Updates
A new drag-and-drop form designer that makes it easy to design and style your forms. Drag elements onto the canvas, apply formatting, and set rules on the same page through tabs in the right pane. Support for running the distributed routing service in a cluster. This allows the service to run in a distributed environment to greatly enhance performance and stability. Click here for more information.
- This feature adds an additional port at port 8172. If you have a DMZ Forms Server connected to the Laserfiche Forms Routing Service running on an internal Forms Server, open port 8172 between the DMZ Forms Server and the internal Forms Server, and change the localhost references to point to the internal Forms Server for the lfinstance endpoint in the web.config file at C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Forms\Forms
Provide administrators the ability to edit variable values. This allows an admin to fix countless issues with an instance. They could update bad email addresses, fix previous mistakes and much more.
Processes that may contain an issue are now suspended rather than terminated. This allows the process to be corrected, and the instance to be recovered and resumed.
When two or more users are editing a classic form at the same time, they will now be presented with a warning that there are unsaved changes by another user when they go to save the form.
Task Monitor page enhances include:
- The ability to filter tasks by action as defined in the process (Approve, Reject, Submit, All, etc.)
- The ability to filter tasks by the assignee.
- The ability to search tasks by user or team name.
Fixes
- Saving to repository without "Import monochrome images" option enabled when generating Laserfiche pages for PDF files no longer flips the generated image. (262362)
- Fixed an issue where an error occurred when generating Laserfiche pages for specific PDF files. (172178)
- Fixed an issue where a task following an inclusive gateway would be duplicated. (271802)
- Prevented a disabled variable from being added to a form multiple times. (274093)
- Solved an issue that generated a SubmissionDataIsInvalid error when the submission xml contains a deleted variable. (276215)
- LFDS synchronization no longer restores a participant that has been removed. (277607)
- Updated installation to use the latest version of Chromium for security enhancements. (280843)
- Use row() to retrieve field data from the same row for the attachment to always get the value from the same row when saving to a repository. (237166)
- Fixed a speed issue when generating a scheduled report snapshot for a custom report with lots of instances. (250186)
