Directory Server 10.4.5

Summary

Laserfiche Directory Server 10.4.5 includes the following new features:

Self-registration includes LDAP users

In the Settings page on the Directory Server administration site, you can allow new users to self-register and existing users to modify their license. Users must belong to either a SAML, Active Directory (AD), or LDAP identity provider.

Optional hardware fingerprint application licensing for sites using domain licenses

When using a domain-locked primary license, Laserfiche Directory Server allows administrators to choose whether to license an application instance using the licensed domain or a specific machine's hardware fingerprint (HWFP). This allows administrators to install select application instances in areas without a domain, such as in a perimeter network (DMZ).

Additional Changes

  • Terminology updated from Master license to Primary license. This change will not be reflected in Laserfiche Directory Server 10.4.4 and older.

Fixes

  • All changes to proxied provider's configurations are now audited. (237443)
  • Signing and decryption certificate settings in Laserfiche Directory Server now accept friendly store names. (243434)
  • Proxied sign in for an LDAP identity provider with retained Active Directory SIDs works now when the identifying attribute is in distinguished name format. (249282)
  • STS Web.config configuration is no longer lost after an upgrade or reinstall. (259402)
