Summary

If you are using Microsoft Outlook for Office 2016 or Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365, you may find that after installing the May 4, 2020 update, you can no longer drag a document from the Laserfiche Windows client into a Microsoft Outlook new email window. After performing the drag action, no file is attached to the new email.

Workaround 1

Revert to the previous version of Outlook. See the following Microsoft knowledge base article for instructions on how to revert to an earlier version of Office:

Workaround 2

Drag the document to the Windows desktop first and then drag the exported document into the new email window.

Workaround 3

Use the Laserfiche Outlook Integration from within Outlook. From the Laserfiche ribbon, select Attach Laserfiche Document to open the Attachments from Laserfiche dialog box and select the document.
