Summary

The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway 10.4 is the second release of this product. The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway is a bridge to the Laserfiche content repository server that understands the CMIS protocol (compliant with version 1.1 of the OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard). Via the CMIS gateway, any enterprise content management (ECM) repository client that supports CMIS can create, read, update, and delete in a Laserfiche repository using the standardized CMIS protocols. The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway supports the Browser, AtomPub, and SOAP web services bindings.

Installation Information

The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway can be installed in conjunction with, or separately from, the Laserfiche SDK.

• The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway 10.4 requires version 9.2.1 or later of the Laserfiche Server
• The Laserfiche web client is not compatible with standalone editions of Laserfiche (such as Executive or Desktop)

Known Issues

• You cannot browse a repository by path when the folder's name has a forward slash '/' in it. However, you can browse by entry ID. If the folder path contains other special characters, configure the web.config file to allow those characters. See the help for more information.
• Query Service: Negation in a text search expression is not supported when the search is run in Laserfiche 9.2 repositories. For example, "Select * from cmis:document where contains('-term')"
• Query Service: Search terms that contain "\" cannot be used in conjunction with other terms when the search is run in Laserfiche 9.2 repositories. For example, "Select * from cmis:document where contains('term1\ or term2')"
• For Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, installing .NET Framework 4.6.1 will fail if Windows Update 2919355 is not installed.
