This article details hotfix 1014139 for Laserfiche Scanning and web scanning, which resolves the following issue:
- Laserfiche web scanning fails to launch in the 10.4.2 web client when configured to automatically sign in. (228918)
- Download the following zip file, which contains a service pack that will update Laserfiche Scanning.
- Extract and run the LFScanning_x86_1042433_KB1014139.msp which will update Laserfiche.Connection.Web.dll in the Scanning install directory.
- Download the following zip file, which contains LfWebScan104.exe and WebScanBuildNum.txt.
- On the Web Access server machine, place the two files into C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files\Scanning.
- Replace the WebScanBuildNum.txt file in C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files\Webtools with the one contained in this zip file.
- Restart the Web Access app pool.
- In the web client, click the Scan button and you will be prompted to download the new version if you do not already have it installed.
