Laserfiche Windows Client 10.4.0 and Later May Not Display the Previously Selected Laserfiche Cloud Sign-in Page

Summary

Laserfiche Windows client 10.4.0 and later no longer stores your previously selected Cloud sign-in page. You are prompted to sign-in each time by clicking "Are you using Laserfiche Cloud? Sign in here" and are then redirected to enter an account ID.

Resolution

You have the option to switch to the previous version of the sign-in page:

  1. On the computer with the Laserfiche Windows client, open the Windows Registry Editor. To do so, go to the search box in the taskbar, search for regedit, and then click on regedit to open the Registry Editor.
  2. On the left, open the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Client8\Profile\Settings key.
  3. Create a REG_SZ string named NewCloudLogin. To do this, right click on the white space in the Settings key and click New and then String Value.
  4. Right-click on the string and click Modify and then under Value data: enter No as a value.
