System and Software Requirements for the Laserfiche 10.4.2 App

Minimum System Requirements for the Laserfiche Mobile Server

If image processing is enabled, it is recommended that the Laserfiche Mobile Server be installed on a machine with a minimum of two cores and should not be installed on the machine that also hosts the Laserfiche Server or database.

The Laserfiche 10.4.2 Mobile Server supports English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazilian), Chinese simplified and Chinese Traditional.

• iPad 2, iPad mini, and later
• The Spotlight search requires iOS 9 or later and does not support searching offline Laserfiche items on iPhone 4S, iPad2, iPad (3rd generation), iPad mini, or iPad touch (5th generation).

Windows Store App Requirements (desktop and tablet)

• Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803) or later
• Recommended 512 MB memory

• Laserfiche Rio 8.3 or later
• Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later
• Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Web Access 8.3.2 or later
• Laserfiche Avante 10 or later

Compatibility Upgrades

Optional:

• You need Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later to interact with forms.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 or later to interact with drafts in Forms.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10 or later to interact with teams in Forms.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10.1 or later to interact with offline forms, tasks, and notifications in Forms.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10.2 or later for offline tasks to be saved automatically to your device.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10.3 or later for offline task and forms drafts to be saved automatically to your device.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10.3.1 or later for online task and forms drafts to be saved automatically to your device.
• You need Laserfiche Forms 10.4 or later to open tasks directly in the app through email notifications and allow bulk task approvals.

If you do not have Laserfiche Forms, you will still be able to use the app, but you will not be able to perform forms actions. You can also use the app to only review and submit forms. You are not required to connect to a repository.

Notes:

• Laserfiche 10.4.2 and later is required for full functionality. Version 10 or later of the Laserfiche Server, Laserfiche Directory Server, and Laserfiche Forms is required to use Laserfiche Directory Server's single sign-on functionality.
• The Laserfiche 10.4.2 app can connect to the Web Access add-on versions 8.3.2 to 9.1.1 and the Laserfiche Mobile Server versions 9.2.0 or later.

Known Issues

Mobile Server

• Clearing the Enable PDF Compression checkbox on the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page still displays a Compression pop-up in the app. (17223)
• A warning message incorrectly appears when adding a repository connection for a newly created repository. (174273)
• Adding a user that does not exist in Laserfiche Directory Server to the Laserfiche Directory Server section of the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page does not display an error informing you that the user does not exist. (203745)
• After adding a new organization, it will not show up in the Organization list when signing into the app until a change is made and saved on the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page. (207788)

All Apps

• The app displays an error when a Forms URL is formatted incorrectly on the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page. (211716)
