This article details each change for Laserfiche Forms 10.4.2.

Updates

• Forms 10.4.2 is now fully TLS 1.2 compliant using .Net Framework 4.7.2.
• Added an option to format dropdown/radio button/checkbox values as text in calculations.
• Improved handling of save process when two or more users alter a Forms process. If a user tries to save a process that was changed after the process was opened, a prompt allows a path for integration of new changes without overwriting previously saved changes.
• Added option to show confirmation dialog when deleting rows/sets in tables/collections.
• Added the ability for a manager or admin to resend email notifications for in progress user tasks that have notifications enabled.
• Added support for the following public cloud managed database services:
  • Microsoft Azure: Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Database Managed Instance
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Amazon RDS for SQL Server
• Added the ability to Interrupt, Retry, and Skip process steps in active Forms process instances.
• Added Instance start date to the list of available columns the inbox task lists.
• Added new Insights features in the reports section, and the ability to save scheduled reports to a repository.
• Instance table search performance improvements when searching all instances.

Fixes

• When using variable tokens in the step name, it no longer incorrectly shows the step name of the first instance for all instances of the same process when monitoring by all processes. (154487)
• No longer receive "The requested report is no longer available" error when downloading a report from a DMZ machine connecting to an internal machine's Routing Service. (177183)
• Forms E-mail Approval now works when the assigned approval mailbox (address) and the authenticated user email address are different. (50175)
• You no longer receive an [LFF5429-ErrorGeolocationFormat] error when attempting to save the geolocation in a Save to Repository service task after changing the locale of the routing service. (168000)
• An incorrect result no longer occurs when using math functions MULT/SUM/SUB/ABS that contain the formula "TIMEVALUE()". (172807)
• The email task now accepts multiple email addresses in its To/CC/BCC fields when using a variable to set the value. (173623)
• Overwriting an existing process with a process containing the same variable name no longer causes the variable name to be auto-renamed, and the existing variable of the same name is over-written. (175022)
• Timers started by timer events attached to activities will be unregistered when a user manually deletes the timer event. (176195)
• "The requested form does not exist. [LFF310-NoFormFound]" error not generated when trying to resume a draft from the email notification when saved before the process was overwritten. (177500)
• Now able to submit forms if the Required Fields are in hidden pages that are placed in a section. (178750)
• Downloading a file from the Business process library works when the Business process library is in offline mode. (181402)
• When a drop-down field has its values filled by a lookup, selecting a value with double quotes will not cause the portion within quotes to be discarded upon submission. (181608)
• [Mobile] Able to vertically scroll the form to view when opened using the task link in the email notification. (183969)
• Validation for illegal characters will be disabled when the requestValidationMode version is equal to 2.0, and enabled when greater than 2.0. (187451)
• When reconnecting after the Forms session times out an infinite redirect loop does not occur on LFDSSTS page if the Forms server and LFDSSTS are installed on the same machine and both sites use https. (192126)
