Summary

This article details Import Agent 10.3.1 update 2, which resolves the following issues:

• If OCR fails to extra text from an image, the text portion will now be ignored and the image will import successfully. (94394)
• When importing and OCRing a multi-page TIFF file with blank pages, the import process no longer stops when it encounters a blank page. (96186)
• Importing a PDF file with the "Preserve PDF annotations" option selected no longer causes an error. (94023, 107983)
• The Laserfiche Import Agent About dialog box, accessed from the Configuration Utility, now displays the current version of the Import Agent Service. (113475)

Resolution

To apply Import Agent 10.3.1 update 2

1. Ensure you have first upgraded to Import Agent 10.3.1 and applied Import Agent 10.3.1 update 1.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing Import Agent 10.3.1 update 2

3. Extract the content of the zip file to a temporary location.
4. On the computer hosting Import Agent 10.3.1, double-click either LFIA_x64_1031479_KB1014007_Update2.msp for 64-bit machines or LFIA_x86_1031479_KB1014007_Update2.msp for 32-bit machines to install the update.
