Summary

WebLink 10.1 includes the following changes:

• In certain scenarios, you could see an "Unable to export document. Permission denied." error message when viewing a PDF file that does not have Laserfiche image pages. this issue is now resolved. (85823)
• Site visitors no longer receive a "Error loading thumbnail data [9013]" error message when viewing documents. (82610)
• When modifying the search query on a custom search form, the date field search query displays correctly when selecting the Before or After operator. (82064)
• Custom search forms now include a reset button for clearing the search. (81471)
• In certain situations, WebLink would not display image pages for PDF files generated by Workflow. This issue is now resolved. (81075)
• Certain PDF files did not download correctly from WebLink. This issue is now resolved. (76279)
• The Print (as PDF) option now functions correctly when the document name contains a character that must be percent encoded. (70987)
• The WebLink Designer no longer displays an "Invalid configuration: Repositories with the same name must have different logins." error message when configuring multiple DBIDs that use the same repository, but auto-login with different users. (70580)
• The WebLink Designer now properly removes custom links when configuring on a non-default virtual directory. (67789)
• The WebLink Designer now has a Manage button for removing registered virtual directories. (67763)
• The WebLink Designer now has additional options when configuring a repository connection and selecting the Auto-login with Windows credentials option. Choose between using the accessing user's account or an anonymous access account. (64716)
• The WebLink Settings Bundler now exports:
  • Custom Links
  • Search Forms
  • Theme Settings
• Advanced search now properly supports selecting values for dynamic fields.

Resolution

Important: Before installing WebLink 10.1, first use the WebLink Settings Bundler to export your WebLink Designer 10.0 settings for later import to WebLink 10.1.

Important: If you have customized ASPX pages in your WebLink 10.0 installation, please be sure to back them up before installing WebLink 10.1.
