  • Email Archive supports Laserfiche Server 10.2 or later.
  • .NET Framework 4.6.1 or later
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) - 11.0.61030
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.61030
  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (x64) - 14.11.25325

Language Packs

The Import Agent installation includes the Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Spanish, French, and Portuguese (Brazilian) Language Packs.

When you open the Import Agent Configuration Utility, the program checks the value of the Language string value in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Import Agent\Settings registry key. If there is no value, Import Agent uses the Windows language setting.

Known Issues

  • Password protected PDF files cannot be imported. (132928)
  • For some PDFs, PDFServices will generate pages incorrectly. (144445)
  • If Import Agent is configured to OCR documents on import, it will stop processing once a blank page is reached. (96186)
  • The Sender email %(EmailSenderAddr) token's value will be " <unknown>" for emails where the sender is also the owner of the MSG file (i.e., if you sent the email to yourself).(144482, 30664)
  • Documents are imported successfully even when the user configured in the profile does not have the Import feature right. (53811)
  • Since Import Agent cannot automatically compress images when converting multi-page TIFF documents to single page files, you must set user attributes for image compression. E.g., Set [Options]DefaultColorFormat to 10 to use the JPEG image format to compress the image. (142478)
  • Concatenating numbers with tokens (e.g., 98%(ServerToken) or %(ServerToken)88) will cause the import to fail. (55491)
  • If you include the %(GCount) token in the repository folder path that Import Agent will import to (configured on the Properties tab), and the folder already exists in the repository, an error will occur. Delete the folder in the repository, and allow Import Agent to create it. (141870)
  • If you use an XML list file to import PDFs and set extract_text=true, and if you configure the Import Agent profile to import XML files as list files and to generate pages for PDFs, an "All pages will be overwritten by extracted text" error will occur on import. This is because the generate pages option takes effect before the extract_text setting. Clear either the generate pages option or extract_text=true. (144152)
  • The [Settings]BurnPDFAnnotationsOnLFImage attribute will not be followed when importing via LSTX or XML file. Annotations will always be burned onto the image. (145036, 30663)

See the following list for issues specific to the Arabic Language Pack.

  • The Post-processing tab may not properly display the default paths. This is only a display issue. (55012)
  • If a field name is in English, the Fields tab may not properly display names that contain parentheses. (54988)
  • On the Schedule tab, the Add Monitoring Time Period dialog box displays in left-to-right mode. (55612)
  • When specifying a name or path in the Properties tab, the values must be all in English or all in Arabic for the left to right (English) or right to left (Arabic) order to be applied correctly. (54983, 54903)
  • The monitored folder path displays incorrectly in the General tab if some parts of the path are in Arabic and some parts are in English. (54940)
