Summary

Laserfiche Directory Server 10.3 features initial support for SAML identity providers. In addition, Directory Server now logs licensing changes and the administration site includes a reporting feature to report on those changes.

SAML Identity Providers

Directory Server now supports connecting to SAML 2.0 identity providers. This initial implementation supports allows importing SAML metadata and configuring claim mappings for single sign-on support. Testing was done primarily with a Shibboleth identity provider solution.

Audit Reporting

Directory Server now creates an audit log for licensing site changes. The Directory Server administration site now includes an Audit Reports page where you can run reports on the available audit data. Choose from multiple event types like user creation and license assignment while also reporting on a specific date range.

Additional Changes and Fixes

  • The process user license type is now supported in the Directory Server administration site.
  • Directory Server is now more fault-tolerant when processing certain types of invalid Rio primary licenses in order to more easily facilitate troubleshooting and reactivation.
  • There are now more options for customizing the look of the AD FS sign-in button.
  • The Settings page now allows you to configure the SQL connection string to your licensing site SQL Server database. (36111)
  • Active Directory Group Synchronization rules can now successfully process Active Group groups with large memberships. (62084)
  • The user profile tab no longer displays a "Cannot get user information" error for large profiles (e.g., if the profile contains a profile image). (36321)
  • Directory Server has improved handling of the participant license type. (36311, 36332, 36339, 36337, 36347)
