Ensure the following IIS features are installed:

  • Static Content
  • ASP.NET
  • Windows Authentication

WebLink is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit. The installation process will automatically install the version corresponding to your version of Microsoft Windows.

For additional information on installing and configuring WebLink, view the WebLink 10 administration guide.

Known Issues

  • WebLink 10 does not support modifying WebLink 9 search forms. Attempting to edit a WebLink 9 search form will return the following error message, "This search form was designed using an older version of WebLink and may not be compatible with the new search form designer." (405900, 472640)
  • In some cases, you may encounter an erroneous "Discard changes?" prompt after you have saved a search query. Your changes have still been correctly saved. (47818)
  • Some ad and script blocking extensions on Chrome may cause the Browse and Search pages to load continuously. Allowlisting the page resolves this issue. (61386)
  • Selecting groups of entries while holding the SHIFT key works identically to selecting specific entries while holding the CTRL key. (62196)
  • When using search9.aspx and performing a template search, the list of templates is sorted by ID rather than by name. (68034)
  • In some browsers on server operating systems, MP4 video files play poorly when WebLink is not listed as a trusted site (123166).
