This article details the list of changes for Laserfiche Windows and Web Client 10.2.1 Update 2.
Laserfiche Web Client
- Attachment annotation tooltips now display the attachment's file name. (28965, 151700)
- When sending documents via email as a ZIP file, electronic files were always included along with pages even if only pages were selected. This issue has been resolved. (28985, 157212)
- Users no longer receive an "Access denied [9013]" error when saving changes to metadata for entries containing a read-only multi-value field group. (29021, 157617)
- Users with appropriate entry access rights can now delete shortcuts in the web client. (29038, 157561)
- Links to Microsoft Office documents when using the web client with Chrome now work correctly. (29044, 154282)
- Performance has been improved when signing in to the web client using a Windows account. (29047, 157615)
- Resolved an issue that could cause only partial pages to be printed when printing from the Web Client using Internet Explorer or Edge. (29074, 153083)
- The Resolve Shortcuts option now correctly defaults to "off" in both the Windows and web clients. (29136, 157498)
- In some cases, generating pages or text for thousands of entries could result in an error. This issue has been resolved. (43352, 29246, 156707)
- Resolved an issue in which an "Access denied" error was returned when multi-value fields groups using a %(gcount) or %(count) token as the default value were added. (29301, 151989)
- Rotated text annotations now display correctly. (29376, 154641)
- When exporting a folder as a ZIP file, documents included in that folder as shortcuts are correctly included in the ZIP file. (41654)
- Resolved an issue in which document text was always included when emailing individual documents as ZIP files. (32680)
- The web client now correctly displays all search results when there is no [Settings]LimitSearchResults attribute set. (29505)
- Resolved an issue that could cause some annotations to not be included when printing imaged documents from the web client. (33692)
- When emails include URL links to documents, the URL now correctly handles various electronic document types. (32146)
- In some cases, adding a Windows user to the repository using the web client management page resulted in an "Error loading dialog" message. This issue has been resolved. (37009)
- Resolved an issue in which the web client could not connect to the Laserfiche Server when SSL/TLS was enabled and port 80 was blocked. (33724)
- Users no longer receive a "An item with the same key has already been added" error when setting values for dynamic fields when they do not have the Read right for two or more other dynamic fields in the template. (36593)
- In some cases, users could encounter an "Angular is undefined" error when opening the web client. This issue has been resolved. (36098)
- Resolved an issue that could result in blurry images in the web client in some cases. (37861)
- The password tab now displays correctly when emailing documents as PDF or ZIP files. (35214, 32363)
- Dynamic fields now correctly load when child fields are part of a multi-value field group. (42281)
- Non-default domains can now be selected in the Show Security dialog box. (38978)
- In the Processes tab, history information now expands automatically. (37673)
- Search highlights now display correctly in the text pane when documents are opened from search results, and when shortcuts are opened from search results. (32589, 32582)
- Resolved an issue where field information could be lost when generating a new document from pages of an existing document. (31693)
- Selecting entries in the recycle bin or quick access views with custom tabs no longer results in a "Entry not found. [9001]" error. (35003, 32665)
- In some cases, opening a Microsoft Office document in the web client using a URL link in Chrome resulted in a blank page or a prompt to install the Office Integration even when the integration was already installed. This issue has been resolved. (29044, 154282)
- Resolved an issue in which some PDFs displayed with incorrect fonts and unreadable text. (33647)
- Resolved an issue that could cause certain bulk operations to fail. (43352)

- Repository connections now time out correctly after importing PDFs. (36967)
- Resolved an issue that could cause instability in the Windows client when clicking a thumbnail during printing. (36652)
- An "Insufficient memory to perform operation" error is no longer encountered when printing some documents with sticky notes. (31776)
- Resolved an issue that could cause the client to become unstable when previewing certain PDFs when Adobe Acrobat is installed. (30486)
- Vertically-oriented text annotations now print correctly. (30044)
- Electronic documents opened using Client Automation Tools no longer close automatically. (29548, 152180)
- Resolved an issue that could prevent child fields in dynamic fields from being populated correctly when [Settings]MaxDropDownLength is set. (29519, 157328)

Note: This update is included as part of the Laserfiche Avante 10.2.1 and Laserfiche Rio 10.2.1 installation packages available on the Laserfiche Support Site after September 15, 2017. When using the updated installation to install Laserfiche 10.2.1 for the first time, the installation process will automatically detect and install the update. If you have not yet installed Laserfiche 10.2.1, please download the most recent version of the Laserfiche Avante or Laserfiche Rio installations. If you need to update an existing Laserfiche Avante or Laserfiche Rio installation, please follow the steps below.

Extract and run Laserfiche1021_Update2_20170928.exe.
Important: If you installed this update prior to October 3, 2017, and wish to apply it again to get the most recent version, you will need to manually uninstall the update first. You can do so by opening Programs and Features, selecting View Installed Updates, selecting the relevant Client Suite and Web Client items, and selecting Uninstall.
