This article details the list of changes for Laserfiche Server 10.1 Update 3.
- Laserfiche Server 10.1 is now compatible with Laserfiche Directory Server 10.2. (153077)
- Users no longer need to be manually set as Read Only to use a public portal license through WebLink. (151542)
- Recycled pages are now correctly cleared from documents. (155091)
- Resolved an issue in which some searches never completed. (152729)
- Logging in to a Laserfiche Rio repository as an LDAP user with a password containing an ampersand (&) no longer results in a "The user account name or password is incorrect [9010]." (154436)
- Repository users with linked domain accounts now display correctly in the administration console's user list. (139654)
- Resolved an issue that could prevent users LDAP users from logging in to Laserfiche Rio repositories in some cases. (153546)
- In some cases, date fields incorrectly stored time information as well. This issue has been resolved. (152651)
- External tables containing CLOB data types and values exceeding 65535 characters no longer cause the Laserfiche Server service to stop. (152291)
- In some cases, downloading very large electronic documents (4GB and larger) could cause the Laserfiche Server service to stop. This issue has been resolved. (150739)
- Low resolution documents with redactions now display correctly. (150598)
- Field searches including scientific notation no longer produce a "General Database Error [9008]."
- Resolved an issue that could result in a "ORA-04043: object WIN_TRUSTEE_GET_ALL_GROUPS2_9I does not exist" error when upgrading to Laserfiche 10.2. (31105)
- Electronic document size is now correctly calculated. (149741)

The update also includes all fixes in Laserfiche Server 10.1 Update 1 and Update 2.
To apply the update, perform the following steps.
- Click the following link to download a ZIP file containing Update 3 for Laserfiche Server 10.1.

- Extract the ZIP file.
- If you have applied Laserfiche Server 10.1 Update 2, you must first remove that update. To do so, run script.bat. If you have not applied Update 2, you do not need to take this step.
- Run LFServer_x64_1011389_KB1013882.msp if your Laserfiche Server is on an x64 operating system, or LFServer_x86_1011389_KB1013882.msp if it is not.
Note: If you receive a "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be updated may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be updated exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch" error, you have Laserfiche 10.1 Update 2 installed. To install Update 3, run the script listed in step 3, above, and then continue with the installation.
