Summary

Laserfiche for Ricoh MFD is a single integrated solution in which scanning, searching, browsing, and printing from the Laserfiche Server can be performed. This software integrates with Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) based on the Android platform. It leverages these smart devices to provide a convenient way to communicate with your Laserfiche Server from a Ricoh MFD.

Multi-Function Device Requirements

The multi-function device you install Laserfiche for Ricoh MFD on must meet the following requirement:

• The device is based on the Android platform and supports Smart SDK 2+.
• The device has a Hard Disk Drive (HDD).

Laserfiche Server Requirements

• Self-hosted Laserfiche Server 8.3 or later
• Laserfiche App Server 10.2 or later

Installation Information

You can install Laserfiche Ricoh MFD using the Ricoh Web Image Monitor. For more information about installation, see the Laserfiche for Ricoh MFD 2.0 Administration Guide included in the installation packet and on the Laserfiche Support Site. For the existing customers who want to download license of old Ricoh app, they can refer to the "Laserfiche for Ricoh MFD 2.0 Administration Guide" on how to generate license via activation tool

Known Issues

• A printing stopped or job aborted error may occur when the document size does not match the paper size, even if auto-scaling is turned on. If this error occurs, manually select the tray that holds the appropriately sized paper under Print Source in the Printer Settings.
