This article documents the features of the Laserfiche CMIS Gateway 10.2.

Features

The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway is a bridge to the Laserfiche content repository server that understands the CMIS protocol (compliant with version 1.1 of the OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard). Via the CMIS gateway, any enterprise content management (ECM) repository client that supports CMIS can retrieve and modify data in a Laserfiche repository using the standardized CMIS protocols and upload new data to a Laserfiche repository. The Laserfiche CMIS Gateway supports both Browser and AtomPub binding.

This integration supports the following actions in a Laserfiche repository from a CMIS compliant application:

• Create documents, folders, records, and records folders
• Read documents, folders, records, and record folders
• Update documents, folders, entry location, security, and record management properties
• Delete documents, folders, records, and records folders
• Edit Laserfiche metadata
• Manage document versions
