Summary

This article details the changes for the Laserfiche Workflow 10.2 Hotfix 1013837.

• When using the Spanish version of Workflow, certain security settings may prevent the Web Client from displaying business processes. This issue is now resolved after you republish any affected business processes. (155950)
• The For Each Entry activity now uses the same date format as the Workflow server. (155528)
• When Workflow uses the column token from a Forms table to populate the fields in a multi-value field group, the blank value at the top of a column token is now preserved. (155527)
• Workflow may be unable to start workflows when the System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing security setting is enabled. After installing the hotfix, add a FIPSOverride DWORD value to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Workflow key and set the value to 1. Restart the Workflow Server service after creating the key. (155500)
• The Retrieve Field Values activity no longer errors out with a "System.InvalidCastException" error when processing a Data type field that contains data. (155167)
• When you create a workflow that uses an Assign Field Values activity, and assign a value from a token to a list field, you can validate the workflow without receiving a warning that field definitions were changed. (154781)
• You no longer receive an "Invalid operation: 'XmlUtility:GetAttributeAsBoolean:0' [0009-B1]" error message when using the Retrieve Business Process Variables activity to select Form fields from a Forms 10.1 Server. (154044)
• The Email activity now properly supports the (Beta) Optimize compression for text on color images option. Previously, enabling the option could cause an "Entry point was not found" error. (153939)
• The Set Business Process Variables activity now properly supports setting the time in a Date field in Forms 10.2. (153780)

To update Workflow 10.2

Click one of the following links to download either the 64-bit version (if you are on a x64 machine) or the 32-bit version (if you are on a x86 machine) of the update.

Each zip file contains an executable file (.exe). Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location. If necessary, transfer the appropriate .exe file(s) to the correct computers and double-click the appropriate .exe to update the desired Workflow component.

Note: The update file automatically checks for whether the Workflow Server, Subscriber, or Designer is installed and updates the appropriate files as needed.
