Summary

When signing in with Laserfiche Windows client 10, you may receive the following error message:

Could not create required control. [6720]

Cause

This error may occur if .NET Framework 3.5 is not installed on the computer. In certain situations, the installation may not automatically install .NET Framework 3.5 when installing the Laserfiche Windows client with the Custom setup type.

Resolution

Install .NET Framework 3.5.

The Laserfiche installation media includes a .NET Framework 3.5 launcher in the Support subfolder.
