Summary

In Quick Fields Scanning, the Quick Fields default tokens (Date, Time, Date Time, Machine Name, Image File Size, Name, Path, Extension, Creation Date, Modification Date, Username, ID, Count, Parent, and Page Count) only resolve when the token is in English.

Resolution

1. Download and install the Quick Fields 10 Update 1 (version 10.0.0.1064) from KB 1013788.
2. Use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the language packs that were installed with Quick Fields Scanning 10. The originally installed version of Quick Fields Scanning is 10.0.0.976. The version listed for the language packs under Add/Remove Programs is 10.0.0.922.

   Note: The Quick Fields and Quick Fields language packs have the same name under Add/Remove Programs. They can be differentiated by their icons. The Quick Fields icon is orange and the Quick Fields Scanning icon is orange and blue. Be sure you uninstall the Quick Fields Scanning 10 language packs and not the Quick Fields 10 language packs.

3. Download the French and Spanish language packs below.
4. Install the new language packs. Once installed, the new language packs will be listed under Add/Remove Programs as version 10.0.0.1071.

• Extract and run the Spanish language pack: QuickFieldsScanning_LP_es.msi.
• Extract and run the French language pack: QuickFieldsScanning_LP_fr.msi.

Note: Uninstalling and reinstalling Quick Fields 10 using the Quick Fields 10 installer will require that the above steps be repeated.
