Laserfiche Server

  • The "Linked Trustee" column now correctly displays the linked account. (143870)
  • An intermittent issue that caused an incorrect "The user account name or password is incorrect [9010]" error message to be displayed has been resolved. (143200)
  • Attaching certain Laserfiche 5 volumes containing large stamps using the Laserfiche 5 Volume Converter could result in a crash of the volume converter. This issue has been resolved. (144464)

Laserfiche Client

  • Resolved an issue in which batch page generation could store pages in the wrong document if one or more of the documents were deleted during page generation. (144706)
  • In some cases, exporting documents from Laserfiche could cause the destination folder in Windows to become locked. This issue has been resolved. (143281)
  • Installing Laserfiche 10.1 products on the same computer as the Laserfiche Client 10 no longer results in a "Invalid version of 'LfWicUtil100.dll'. Expected: 10.0, Actual:10.1. Continue?" error message when opening the Client. (143459)
  • Downloading folder contents containing PDFs with pages no longer results in a file name conflict error. (144459)
  • An issue that could result in the "Sender" email property not being correctly retrieved when importing emails has been resolved. (145057)
  • When generating pages from color pages, some images were generated at a very large size. This issue has been resolved. (138906)
  • Performing a batch import with the default import profile assigned now correctly applies the profile to all documents in the batch. (143233)
  • When reordering columns in the Tags tab of the Metadata Pane, column order will now be remembered. (143449)
  • The default color format trustee attribute will now be respected when set on the Everyone group. (142788)
  • An issue where attachment annotations on a PDF could not be opened after the PDF was converted to Laserfiche pages has been resolved. (142848)
  • Various issues encountered when generating pages from PDFs have been resolved. (144733, 142128, 142203, 143616, 144275, 141155, 143693, 143762, 143804, 144367, 144396, 144501, 144588)
  • In some cases, duplicate Conversation ID and Unique Message ID values would be generated when importing different emails. This issue has been resolved. This fix changed the checksum method for calculating the message/conversation IDs. If the old method is necessary for your workflow, set the attribute "[Settings]UseLegacyOutlookIdMethod" to "Yes" to continue using the legacy checksum method. Note that in certain rare cases the IDs might not be unique when using the legacy method. (144041)

Web Access

  • The location bar has been enhanced to make it easier to quickly navigate to subfolders using only the keyboard. (141142)
  • Imaged documents with a period in the document name now use the correct icon. (145385)
  • An issue preventing independent fields from being added to a document in the Import dialog box has been resolved. (145330)
  • When a document is automatically opened because it is the only search result, it will now open in a new tab. (144981)
  • An issue that prevented recycle bin searches from functioning properly in Web Access has been resolved. (144765)
  • When downloading folder contents as a ZIP, if the repository was configured to audit export actions, some documents were excluded from the final ZIP archive. This issue has been resolved. (144596)
  • If a briefcase was imported into a folder with no default volume configured, and no volume named "DEFAULT" existed in the repository, briefcase import would fail. This issue has been resolved. (144593)
  • An issue that resulted in improper encoding of Outlook messages sent from Web Access has been resolved. (144578)
  • Business processes with page count and parent name conditions can now be enabled. (144216)
  • Date searches now correctly return results for time period searches when using the Hijri calendar. (143977)
  • In some cases, URLs opening documents to a specific page did not work. This issue has been resolved. (143725)
  • An issue in which scanning into a folder cause the last scanned document to remain locked until Laserfiche Scanning was closed has been resolved. (143650)
  • Generating a report and saving as a tab-delimited CSV file resulted in a report that could not be opened in Microsoft Excel. This issue has been resolved. (143510)
  • The annotation pane for past versions of a document will no longer display annotations present only in the current version. (143484)
  • Laserfiche Directory Server connection verification failed on the Web Access Configuration page if your Laserfiche Directory Server host name contains capital letters. This issue has been resolved. (143431)
  • The location of the event log is now displayed in the Diagnostics section of the Web Access Configuration page. (143313)
  • Downloading multiple versions of the same document now downloads the correct versions. (143193)
  • Once a user pressed the SPACE bar when in the fields section of the Import dialog box, they could not longer use TAB to switch between fields. This issue has been resolved. (140916)

Audit Trail

  • When certain columns were selected, downloading a report resulted in an empty ZIP file. This issue has been resolved. (143671)
  • When selecting the default start date and then selecting the same date as the end date, a "The start date must be earlier than the end date" error message was incorrectly displayed. This issue has been resolved. (143564)
  • Missing columns in both new and saved reports have been restored. This error affected display only and did not result in data loss. (143670, 143406)

Resolution

Note: This update is included as part of the Laserfiche Avante 10.1 and Laserfiche Rio 10.1 installation packages available on the Laserfiche Support Site after June 16, 2016. When using the updated installation to install Laserfiche 10.1 for the first time, the installation process will automatically detect and install the service pack. If you have not yet installed Laserfiche 10.1, please download the most recent version of the Laserfiche Avante or Laserfiche Rio installations. If you need to update an existing Laserfiche Avante or Laserfiche Rio installation, please download the following zip file.
