Summary

Samsung Connector's license cannot be deactivated unless you provide a host ID in the command prompt used to deactivate the product.

Resolution

To deactivate Samsung Connector

  1. Locate your Serial Number and Mac Address on your SyncThru Web Service Home page.
  2. In the following command line, add your activation key after -key, your Serial Number after -fingerprint, and your Mac Address after -hostID. The Mac Address can be in either the "30:cd:a7:60:1f:7b" or "30-cd-a7-60-1f-7b" format.

    3. E.g., ActivationTool.exe -deactivate -key ACTIVATION-KEY -fingerprint SERIAL-NUMBER -hostid MAC-ADDRESS
