The Laserfiche App is an Android, iOS, and Windows app that lets you capture, upload, and securely access and work with documents and forms in and outside your Laserfiche repository while on the go. This article highlights new features and changes for the Android app, iOS app, and Windows app.
- The Laserfiche App now supports offline forms. This lets you view and fill out forms, save them as drafts, and submit them without an Internet connection. Once you connect the device to the Internet or cellular data and sign into the Forms server via the app, the forms will automatically be uploaded.
- Offline forms can be locked so public users can't navigate to other offline forms.
- Updates to Forms Tasks
- You can receive a notification on your device when a Forms task is assigned to you.
- Due dates assigned to a task can now be completely removed instead of just modified.
- A user who has started a task but cannot finish it, can save it as a draft, then reassign the draft to another user without any work being lost.
- Updates to Forms Attachments
- You can now attach a document from your repository to a form.
- When uploading a gallery image or newly snapped photo as an attachment to a form, you now have the option to save space by compressing the image to a smaller size.

- Instead of using your finger or stylus to draw your signature, you can now type your signature and apply a specific style to it. You can also add a date to your signature to verify the day you signed the document.
- In the Windows desktop app, you can copy the location of an entry and use it to navigate to the entry quickly from anywhere in the repository( Windows desktop only).
- You can now share Laserfiche images as PDF files.
