Summary

This article documents Service Pack 2 for Laserfiche 9.2.1.

Service Pack 2 includes updates to the Laserfiche Server, the Full-Text Search Engine, the Laserfiche Client, and the Laserfiche Administration Console. It is cumulative with Service Pack 1.

Laserfiche Server

• Copying documents with pages but no location data could be a slow process in large repositories. This issue is now resolved. (140004)
• Laserfiche now includes improved handling to prevent the search index queue from consuming all available disk space. (122954)
• Improved WebDAV compatibility for Laserfiche Server 9.2.1. (135647)
• Deleting documents could be unexpectedly slow in repositories that contain a large number of document links or document relationship. This issue is now resolved. (140924)

Laserfiche Client

• The Laserfiche Client could become unstable if you attempt to drag and drop a file into a repository when there is not a valid connection to the repository. This issue is now resolved. (133824)
• The Laserfiche Client no longer becomes unstable if you attempt to view an invalid context hit from the search results. (122711)
• The Send to Laserfiche (SendToLaserfiche92.exe) option could become unstable in certain situations when sending a document to Laserfiche from Windows Explorer. This issue is now resolved. (134600)
• LDAP user accounts with passwords with more than 31 characters can now sign in to Laserfiche. (108117)

Laserfiche Administration Console

• You no longer receive an "access denied" error message when modifying a field definition from the Template properties dialog box when you have the Modify Field right on that field. (132037, 139340)
• You may see improved performance when navigating through the Administration Console tree structure. (137240)

Resolution

Note: This update is included as part of the Laserfiche Rio 9.2.1 and Laserfiche Avante 9.2.1 installation packages available on the Laserfiche Support Site after February 29, 2016. When using the updated installation to install Laserfiche 9.2.1 for the first time, the installation process will automatically detect and install the service pack. If you have not yet installed Laserfiche 9.2.1, please download the most recent version of the Laserfiche Rio or Laserfiche Avante installations. If you need to update an existing Laserfiche Rio or Laserfiche Avante installation, please download the following ZIP file.
