Laserfiche Mobile is an Android, iOS, and Windows app that lets you capture, upload, and securely access and work with documents and forms in and outside your Laserfiche repository while on the go.
There are no service packs or hotfixes for Laserfiche Mobile 10.
Minimum System Requirements for the Laserfiche Mobile Server
If image processing is enabled, it is recommended that the Laserfiche Mobile Server be installed on a machine with a minimum of two cores and should not be installed on the machine that also hosts the Laserfiche Server or database.

Laserfiche Components
You must have one the following configurations:
- Laserfiche Rio 8.3 or later
- Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later
- Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Web Access 8.3.2 or later
- Laserfiche Avante 10 or later
Optional: Add Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later to Laserfiche Rio 8.3 or later to interact with forms. Add Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 or later to Laserfiche Rio 9.2.1 or later to interact with drafts in Forms. Add Laserfiche Forms 10 or later to Laserfiche Rio 10 or later to interact with teams in Forms.
Notes:
- If you do not have Laserfiche Forms, you will still be able to use the app, but you will not be able to perform forms actions. You can also use the app to only review and submit forms. You are not required to connect to a repository.
- Laserfiche 10 and later is required for full functionality.
- Version 10 of the Laserfiche Server, Laserfiche Directory Server, and Laserfiche Forms is required to use Laserfiche Directory Server's single sign-on functionality.
Laserfiche Mobile Server
- The drop-down menus on the Configuration page may be out of focus in some browsers. (134182)
- The error reported when a Forms server is configured incorrectly may not state the correct solution. (137367)
- A port defined in the Laserfiche Server name on the Configuration page is not detected if SSL is configured. (135926)
- Only one organization can be configured on the Mobile Configuration page. (136733)
- Laserfiche images saved as offline copies of documents may appear distorted (Electronic documents are clearly displayed). (137514)
- Laserfiche images opened from the search results may appear distorted (Electronic documents are clearly displayed). (137555)
- The ability to switch Forms servers in the Laserfiche Mobile app is only available when signed in to Laserfiche Forms (135655).
- When a user does not have appropriate rights to sign in to a repository, and an administrator modifies the rights, the user must sign in to a different repository before he/she can sign in to the current repository. (119759)
- Configuring a domain on the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration Page results in repository users unable to sign in (137879).
Android App
- You can not navigate back to the Start page using the device's "back" button from the Offline Copies tab under Local Documents. (137341)
- When capturing new images, tapping on the thumbnail of the last captured image navigates to the first captured image. (137082)
- The Last Modified date/time of local documents does not follow the device's date/time settings. (133456)
- Two dialog boxes will appear when tapping on a List field. (136021)
- Phone: Clicking on a URL inside an email for a specific document takes you to the root of the repository instead of the specific document. (126223)
- The italic font style is not supported on the Samsung Galaxy Note II phone. It may also not be supported on other older Android devices. (137521)
- An image uploaded as a forms attachment retains its original orientation, even if it has been rotated before uploading. (136030)

iOS App
- Sharing text with Facebook may fail and display a "There was a problem sharing your link" error. (137254)
- The Search box may appear when rotating the device while inside a sub folder. (125162)
- The iPad app may crash when attempting to open a large image file. (130570)
- The app crashes if you try to open a document from another application in the app after it has been force closed. (137211)
- Editable text boxes on imported PDFs do not show up in the Document Viewer. (136492)
- Tapping anywhere outside the keyboard while filling out a field will close the keyboard. (120692)
- Opening a .lfe sent from the Laserfiche desktop client returns an error (139593).
- The text field values in an editable PDF are lost when uploading it to Laserfiche. The iOS Document Viewer does not support editable PDF text fields.(141815)
- If you sign a document where an editable field is located, once uploaded to Laserfiche, the signature will be hidden. The iOS Document Viewer does not support editable PDF text fields. (141815)
Windows App
- Image compression does not work properly on JPG and PNG images. (130489)
- Laserfiche is not an available app target when sharing a document from another application. (129865)
- When using a computer, single-clicking the menu button doesn't always work. (127217)
iOS and Android Apps
- The signature/drawing sometimes displays under the signature line. (136165)
- The app allows cropping outside the image perimeter, which results in the cropped image containing a white space. (124070) (123911)
- While signing into a repository and Forms server, tapping the screen before the sign in process completes causes the Sign-In dialog to continuously display and you will not be able to sign in without restarting the app. (125341)
- When changing the color of an image, the status is sometimes updated before the color conversion completes. (124473)
- Sometimes a cancelled document download does not stop downloading after a user confirms the cancellation. (123471)
- The Forms Inbox task number may not automatically increment when a new task arrives. You may have to manually refresh it. (122734)
- The Laserfiche Server version is missing under Settings when you are connected to an 8.3 version of the Laserfiche Mobile Add-on. (121109)
- A shortcut (.lfe) attached to an email sent from Workflow or the Client will not redirect to the repository unless you have previously signed into the repository. (124823)
