Summary

This article details hotfix 1013636 for Quick Fields 9.0, which resolves the following issues:

• Documents without extensions do not scan when using Universal Capture with the "Include subfolders" option selected. (125862)
• Certain PDFs generate inverted images. (122987)
• Certain PDFs display a special character (i.e., "?") instead of a "space" on generated images. (107534)
• "Error occurred while trying to scan document id=x, name=page y, error=Unknown error" is received when scanning some images with Laserfiche Capture Engine. Certain files retrieved by Laserfiche Capture Engine are processed but not visible in Quick Fields. These same files will be visible once sent back to Laserfiche. (125990)

Click the following link to download the update. This update must be installed on the machine where Quick Fields 9.0 is installed.

The zip file contains a single patch file (.msp). Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location on the machine where Quick Fields 9.0 is installed. Double-click the .msp file to update Quick Fields 9.0.
