Laserfiche Mobile is an Android and iOS app that enables you to capture, upload, and securely access and work with documents and forms inside your Laserfiche repository while on the go.

Minimum System Requirements
If image processing is enabled, it is recommended that the Laserfiche Mobile Server be installed on a machine with a minimum of two cores and should not be installed on the machine that also hosts the Laserfiche Server or database.

Laserfiche Components
You must have one the following configurations:
- Laserfiche Rio 8.3 or later
- Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later
- Laserfiche Avante 8.3 or later and Web Access
Optional: Add Laserfiche Forms 9.2 or later to Laserfiche Rio 8.3 or later to interact with forms. Add Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 or later to Laserfiche Rio 9.2.1 or later to interact with drafts in Forms.
Note: If you do not have Laserfiche Forms, you will still be able to use the app, but you will not be able to perform forms actions. You can also use the app to only review and submit forms. You are not required to connect to a repository.
Note: Laserfiche 9.2.1 is required for full functionality.
Laserfiche Mobile Server
- When using Google Chrome to view the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page, you may get an error when trying to authenticate using Windows credentials. If this happens, you need to configure Kerberos. See KB 1013298 for more information. (114077)
- On the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page, you have to provide credentials to configure a geotag, a default volume, and authenticated users for a repository. If you switch to a different repository, then switch back, you will have to provide credentials again. (119920)
- If you have trouble opening the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page successfully, and you are using Internet Explorer 11, try clearing the Enable Protected Mode checkbox in the Security tab under Internet options. (120394)
- If you navigate away from the Devices section of the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page, then navigate back, the log does not update. To update the log, you must manually refresh the page. (124417).
Both Apps
- You cannot save copies of documents offline while test driving the app. (124142)
- Forms drafts in Laserfiche Mobile are only supported with Laserfiche Mobile Server 9.2.1 and later and Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 and later. (124374)
- The new app side image editing is not available on devices with less than 900 megabytes of memory. Devices that do not support image editing will offer the original server side image processing options. (124241)
- Opening and closing a form without adding any information will display a "Leave Page?" dialog box informing you that unsaved changes will be lost. (117408)
- Thumbnails of pages that contain mixed DPIs will be displayed with incorrect dimensions. (120679)
- The Save to gallery option will only save the original picture taken to the gallery, not the processed one. (122432)
- An email containing a shortcut (.lfe) associated with a document in another repository will log you out of the current repository. It will not redirect you to the repository where the shortcut is located. (124823)
Android App
- Dragging a cropping handle to create a convex shape will not work. The handle will move back to its original location and may be difficult to modify. (123992)
- The app may restart when opened after being minimized. (122374)
- The new app side image editing is not available if you are using a device that has a 1 GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU. Devices that do not support image editing will offer the original server side image processing options. (124241)
- If attaching documents to forms or importing documents from Google Drive, you will need to refresh Google Drive outside of Laserfiche Mobile to see the latest contents in Google Drive. (123189)
- Uploading an attachment to a form using Android 4.4.2 will not work. However, uploading attachments to forms using Android 4.4.3 and laterwill work. (115627)
- Form fields contained in a form section may disappear when the section is collapsed and expanded again when using a 2013 Nexus 7. (115531)
- Words in a drop-down field in a form are cut off when using a 2013 Nexus 7. (115336)
- The text in the Image Processing options borders the left side of the screen when using a Samsung Galaxy (Android 2.3). (114754)
- If you navigate to a folder in Laserfiche Mobile, then leave the folder to fill out a form, when you tap All Files in the main menu, you will be directed to the root of the repository instead of the last folder you were in. (113329)
- Tapping the Rotate button multiple times quickly may crash the app. (115271)
- The background of random tasks in the left pane may change to black. (124049)
- Image fragments may appear when rotating an imaged document a couple times. (123557)
- Alternating between the three color options in the app side image editing tool may crash the app. (122936)
- The "decrease" button is enabled on initial launch of the Jump to Page dialog box. (120697)
iOS App
- A white line flashes when you expand or collapse the repository name in the main menu. (116448)
- When switching from the image view to the electronic file view, you will be directed to the first page of the electronic file, instead of the corresponding image page. Also, if an image page is deleted, the pages in the image and electronic file will not be corresponding. (117741)
- The text associated with a document image can not be printed. Only document images can be printed. (74643)
- The title of the Jump to Page dialog box may be cut off. (120698)
- If you are filling out a field, and you tap outside the field, the keyboard may close. (120692)
- Assigning a template with a long name to an entry causes the name to blend with the down arrow. (120690)
- Allowing or denying access to a device's photo gallery may restart the app. (120611)
- A shortcut (.lfe) attached to an email sent from Workflow will open as an XML file. Tap Open In and select Open in Laserfiche to open it in Laserfiche Mobile. (124824)
iOS 8 only
- Exporting an electronic document that is 10 or more megabytes may take a while to export. (120501)
- Tapping the Expand button in the Document Viewer will sometimes display two menus. (120688)
- Tapping the "x" inside a field to clear it will close the keyboard. (120872)
iPad only
- When accessing new copies of offline documents from the Access offline copies button on the Sign-In page, the More button and Full screen button will not work. Close and reopen the offline copy to activate these buttons. (123994)
