Summary

This article highlights changes and fixes for Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1.

Updates

• When configuring an LDAP server profile for LDAP participants, you can now specify multiple base distinguished names.
• The columns for viewing and configuring users and groups on the Security Settings page are now sortable.
• For Lookup Rules, if your When condition requires a table's field being filled in, the Fill condition must be for another field within the same table. Fill conditions for fields outside the table will no longer run.

Fixes

• File upload field variables placed in read-only sections no longer lose their contents. (122490, KB1013585)
• Encrypted passwords for named users and LDAP participants are no longer stored in the Forms database. (123650)
• Autocomplete for passwords on the Forms login screen is turned on by default. You can turn it off if desired. (123750) See KB1013606 for more information.
• Existing saved passwords for Laserfiche named users, Windows account users, LDAP named users, and LDAP participant users will be cleared when you upgrade to Forms 9.2.1. (124008)
• You can now change your LDAP named users to LDAP participants. (123714)
• .Net Trust Levels will always be set to Full when Forms is installed instead of inheriting settings from the parent website. (122580)
• The Actions History displayed on forms saved to the repository now shows actions in ascending order (first to last) to match the order in Forms 9.1. (123063)
• In the Save to Repository service tasks, the Configure Fields dialog box now indicates which Laserfiche fields are required. (123318)
• Drop-down, radio button, and checkbox options that start with the "$" character can now be saved. (122661)
• Editing long forms in Firefox no longer encounters "unresponsive script" errors. (121182)
• On the Edit page of the Form Designer, your changes are no longer lost if your session times out before you refresh the page. (122963)
• Security settings now handle a large number of accounts with pagination. (120139)
• If you delete a variable inside a table that has its column width defined, the form canvas will now load without error. (122663)
• Buttons in the rich-text editor now work when configuring complicated processes on slow machines. (122953)
• A "System.DateTimeParse.Parse Exact" error no longer occurs when a process is published. (123322)
• The signature dialog box can now be opened from a saved draft in the Inbox. (122444)
• If an intermediate timer is attached to a user task, the "interrupt the attached activity" option is selected, and the timer is set to restart the user task, the intermediate timer event will now complete before the next intermediate timer begins. (123543)
• Long, submitted forms that are accessed via a URL now have a scroll bar. (122551)
• When Forms is installed on an x64 machine, the "Enable 32-bit Application" option will always be set to false for the FormsAppPool, instead of inheriting its settings from the Application Pool defaults. (105879)
• Users are now prevented from entering more than 100 characters in the "Other" option for checkbox and radio fields, instead of being able to enter more and the value failing to save. (122217)
• In Chrome, if you print a long form from a user task in the Inbox, the form now auto-resizes correctly and prints all its content. (120521)
• Field labels will wrap on spaces (instead of the middle of a word), if possible. (120323)
• An "Entry locked" error no longer occurs when multiple Save to Repository tasks save forms and/or attachments with the same name to the same folder at the same time. (123551)
• If a lookup rule matches a field in a table and fills a field in a collection, all the auto-filled values in the collection no longer disappear when a new row is added to the table. (114381)
• If a checkbox has a choice that starts with "$$", that choice no longer becomes "$$hashKey" and an error no longer occurs when the form is previewed. (123338)

Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 also includes all updates released for Laserfiche 9.2.
