Summary

This article details hotfix 1013576 for Laserfiche Directory Server 9.2. The hotfix includes the following changes for Directory Server:

• You no longer receive a "this instance cannot be updated" error when upgrading Laserfiche Server 9.2 and Directory Server contains an existing Laserfiche Server 9.1 registration for that server instance. (121320)
• When registering users, expanding the search within this domain option could display an "Unable to search on the specified directory path" message. This issue is now resolved. (121051)
• When registering users, searches are now properly confined to the organization unit specified when registering an identity provider. (121050)
• The Register Application Instance page now properly registers legacy-style fingerprints when you manually specify the value in the field. (120896)
• The Laserfiche Plus 8.1.3 activation process can now connect to Directory Server. (120794)
• The Directory Server site now displays properly when installed on an IIS site other than Default Web Site. (120635)
• The Directory Server site now allows deleting application instances when WebDAV is enabled (120634)
• In certain situations, importing data from a License Manager 8.3 database could exclude Laserfiche Server registrations. This issue is now resolved. (121400)
• Laserfiche Directory Server no longer sends an immediate invalid license response if an application instance attempts a license verification check while Directory Server is still loading the licensing site/database. (122237)
• Importing data from a License Manager 8 licensing database now requires less time. (122154)
• Searching for users in a different domain could result in a "Login failed" message after providing valid authentication information if there is no trust relationship between the domains. This issue is now resolved. (122435)
• Active Directory group synchronization rules now properly process subgroups. (122579)
• Named devices are now exempt from Active Directory group synchronization rules. (122721)
• Active Directory group synchronization rules now properly handle processing groups with more than 1000 Windows users. (122823)
